Rose oil is cultivated from Rosa Damascena by water-steam distillation of fresh rose petals.

One kilogram of rose oil is generally obtained from 3 to 3.5 tons of petals. Bulgarian rose oil is a pure and natural product, widely used in perfumery, cosmetics and medicine.
